Special Studio is a recording studio and independent record label based in Nykarleby.
The studio focuses primarily on the sound and style of 1950's Rock N Roll,
with an emphasis on authentic recording techniques.
Unlike many modern studios that rely heavily on digital tools, Special Studio operates with an 8-channel tape recorder and a analog compressors &
mixing consoles. We also use real acoustic pianos, drums and tube amps. This approach allows artists to achieve the warm,
dynamic sound associated with the golden era of rock, rhythm & blues, and early pop music.
Special Studio works with both local and international artists who share a passion for this type of music.
